Dr. Bourne provides Consultative services in the specialty areas of diabetes mellitus, thyroid, adrenal, calcium, and pituitary disorders. She does not provide primary care services and requires each patient to have a primary care physician to address general medical needs and health maintenance.

•Her
consultation includes a comprehensive history and physical examination,
interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic studies, and formulation with
the patient of a treatment plan. Follow-up visits are required for
updating your evaluation and treatment plan as your medical condition
warrants.
She has a special interest in intensive
diabetes management, including insulin pump therapy as well as the care of
pre-gestational and gestational diabetes patients.
• Hormonal stimulation and suppression testing (TRH testing, ACTH testing) may also be performed in the office with interpretation of these results by Dr. Bourne.
