The pituitary is a very small gland located at the base of the brain that works as the master gland. It sends signals to Thyroid and Adrenal, Ovaries, and Testes telling them to produce thyroid hormone and estrogen and cortisol and testosterone, and many more. Those hormones effect metabolism, blood pressure, sexuality, reproduction, and other functions. The pituitary gland also produces growth hormone for normal development of height and prolactin that produces milk. What are some of Pituitary disorders?
