Y All patients coming to our office will be seen for a minimum of 2 office visits.

    1. Your first visit will be a 40-minute consultation to assess your condition and order lab work, ultra sound, etc..

    2. To discuss your results in detail an answer any questions you may have.   These results may not be given over the telephone, as you will have many questions that can only be answered in the office because of the amount of time needed.

Thyroid conditions

Require less office visits after the first 6-12 months or when you are controlled. Once controlled you will probably be seen semi-annually or annually.

Y First time visits bring or fax your most recent labs, thyroid ultrasound, or thyroid scan.

Y FNA Biopsy or Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy can be performed in our office.

Y Post surgery – we need to see you 1 week after surgery to adjust your medications.

Y We will need to see you in the office if any pain or swelling occurs.

                    Diabetes

Y Diabetes patients may need more visits in the first 3 months; the number will decrease with better control.

Y If you are seeing us for Diabetes care we utilize a team of Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE) to help with your condition.

You will be seeing one of our other team members for your, Diabetes, Blood Glucose meter, Insulin, or Insulin Pumps.

YIf you have Diabetes bring your blood glucose logbook and meter to every visit.  You do not even have to ask if we want you to bring it.
